Earth Island Institute (EII)
Founded in 1982 by veteran environmentalist David Brower, fosters the efforts of creative individuals by providing organizational support in developing projects for the conservation, preservation, and restoration of the global environment. EII provides activists the freedom to develop program ideas, supported by services to help them pursue those ideas, with a minimum of bureaucracy.
Environmental Capital Network
Provides individual, professional, corporate, and institutional investors with access to companies that are commercializing "green" technologies, products, and services. The network reviews business plans, offers employee training, hosts Capital Forums, and publishes the Investor's Bulletin. Families and Work Institute (FWI)
A nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization that studies the changing workforce and workplace, the changing family and the changing community. As a preeminent think-tank, FWI is known for being ahead of the curve, identifying emerging issues, and then conducting rigorous research that often challenges common wisdom, provides insight and knowledge, and motivates action. Since the Institute was founded in 1989, our work has focused in three major areas: the workforce/workplace, youth and early childhood.

Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR)
For thirty-five years ICCR has been a leader of the corporate social responsibility movement. Membership is an association of 275 faith- based institutional investors, including national denominations, religious communities, pension funds, foundations, hospital corporations, economic development funds, asset management companies, colleges, and unions. Members press companies to be socially and environmentally responsible. Each year religious institutional investors sponsor over 200 shareholder resolutions on major social and environmental issues.

ISO Social Responsibility
ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, has decided to launch the development of an International Standard providing guidelines for social responsibility (SR). The guidance standard will be published in 2008 as ISO 26000 and be voluntary to use.
